Meet the Team

Jim Baker
BA (Hons) MRICS
RICS Registered Valuer
Jim is an experienced Chartered Surveyor. He is based in our South West/Wales office and has gained his experience predominantly in the licensed and leisure property industry. He advises on professional and agency matters throughout the UK and has represented many cases in court on litigation and lease renewal. He retains (and demonstrates) his sense of humour throughout the working day.

Tracey Baker
Tracey manages the business and the HR function. She has a background in service businesses including estate agency and recruitment. She uses her keen skills to keep us all in check.

Jack Sinclair
BSc (Hons) MRICS
RICS Registered Valuer
Jack graduated from the University of the West of England with a first- class honours degree in Real Estate. He returned to James A Baker and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and worked in the South West/Wales office followed by the Midlands office. He has since developed his knowledge of the licensed property sector by concentrating on professional work. Due to his hardwork and enthusiasm he has recently been promoted to Director and has moved over to our London/South East office.

Matt Whiteley
BSc (Hons) MRICS
RICS Registered Valuer
Matt graduated from Northumbria University with a BSc (Hons) degree in Real Estate Management. Matt returned to James A Baker after undertaking his placement year with the company and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. He has since moved on to become Associate Director of the North office. He is an enthusiastic team player and his dedication and sense of humour is evident in the workplace.

Evija Bilde
Evija recently joined as the office manager for the Midlands office. Evija has years of experience working within the hospitality industry. Her experience in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment provides the support needed to ensure smooth running of the office.

William Baker
BSc (Hons)
William is fast developing his knowledge of the licensed and leisure property sector and has recently completed and gained the Real Estate Management Degree by distance learning whilst working full time. A dedicated and wonderfully passionate individual, who has fully embraced working in the London/South East office.

Angela Marchant
Angela has a background in customer services and is a great team player always on standby to help. She understands the specific requirements and administrative needs of all the offices and it is through her efforts that each office is constantly kept up to date.

Charlie Noad
BSc (Hons)
Charlie joined James A Baker shortly after finishing his A-Levels. Charlie has lots of practical work experience under his belt and has recently completed and gained the Real Estate Management Degree by distance learning whilst working full time. He approaches work and play with great enthusiasm, immersing himself fully in any given task.

Henry Boshier
Henry is the youngest member of James A Baker and joined after finishing his A-levels in September 2018. He has decided to follow an alternative route to university by conducting a degree level apprenticeship, whilst working. Henry is highly motivated and willing to tackle any task thrown his way, as well as being excited to learn vital skills on the job.

Debra Mann
BA (Hons)
Debra has been with the business for over 10 years and has a broad background in marketing and sales. She oversees our IT systems, the website, marketing/PR and manages and develops the ever-changing agency database. She also provides PA and admin support to the members of the South West/Wales office. She’s multi-lingual and multi-tasking.
